used as notecards. You’ll be amazed at how this simple printmaking proce
ss wakes up the creativity within– like a mini vacation. NO EXPERIENCE N
ECESSARY. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring you
r own fresh plant material. All students should wear old clothing About t
he Instructor: Mary Scott Himes has returned to her art practice after yea
rs working in the home design and non-profit worlds. Mary’s drawings and
prints of abstracted figurative subjects question female beauty and how t
hat standard gets defined. She also explores beauty in the natural world,
creating botanical gel prints from leaves, grasses and flowers. Her worksh
ops inspire people to tap into their inherent creativity and free themselv
es from the stress of daily life. Private and group sessions available. Sh
e has a BA in History/Art History from McGill University and a BFA in Envi
