DESCRIPTION:Ready to get creative and make something amazing? Join a few N
 CHS art students for an engaging, hands-on art class! Students in grades 1
 -2 will create their own galaxies with colorful chalk pastels while explor
 ing space science. We will experiment with colors, blending, and fun techn
 iques. Materials will be provided, and students can take their galaxies ho
 me to display! These classes are organized by Emily Meng, a high school f
 reshman and recipient of multiple Scholastic Art Awards, including the CAE
 A/Arnini Best in Drawing award, as well as additional honors in national a
 nd international competitions. Emily has a strong background in drawing, p
 ainting, crafting, and mural work, and she is passionate about sharing cre
 ative, hands-on experiences with young students.
