DESCRIPTION:Ready to get creative and draw your favorite characters? Join 
 a few NCHS art students for an engaging, hands-on class! Students will lea
 rn step-by-step techniques to draw their favorite animated characters, inc
 luding SpongeBob, Pikachu, Bluey, and more, while adding their own creativ
 e details and style. Materials will be provided.This program is intended f
 or students entering grades 2-3 in Fall 2026. These classes are organized
  by Emily Meng, a rising high school sophomore and recipient of multiple S
 cholastic Art Awards, including the CAEA/Arnini Best in Drawing award, as 
 well as additional honors in national and international competitions. Emil
 y has a strong background in drawing, painting, crafting, and mural work, 
 and she is passionate about sharing creative, hands-on experiences with yo
 ung students.
