DESCRIPTION:Ready to get creative and bring your imagination to life? Join
  a few NCHS art students for an engaging, hands-on art class! Students wil
 l explore physics and experiment with blowing through straws to create det
 ailed abstract artwork, ranging from landscapes to imaginative monsters. M
 aterials will be provided, and students are encouraged to wear clothing th
 at may get messy.This program is intended for students entering grades 2-3
  in Fall 2026. These classes are organized by Emily Meng, a rising high s
 chool sophomore and recipient of multiple Scholastic Art Awards, including
  the CAEA/Arnini Best in Drawing award, as well as additional honors in na
 tional and international competitions. Emily has a strong background in dr
 awing, painting, crafting, and mural work, and she is passionate about sha
 ring creative, hands-on experiences with young students.
