 Brothers by B. B. Alston this month. Each month, leaders from LiveGirl, S
 .T.A.R., and New Canaan Library guide participants in thoughtful discussio
 n and creative activities to explore the social issues these books address
 . Brainstorm ways to make real, positive changes in your community! Open t
 o anyone in grades 5-8.\r\nThis program is in partnership with LiveGirl, S
 .T.A.R., and New Canaan Library. Registration information will be shared 
 with LiveGirl and S.T.A.R. \r\nFounded in 2014, LiveGirl, Inc. is a Con
 necticut-based nonprofit organization that builds confident, inclusive lea
 ders. Our mission is to prepare the next generation of diverse, brave fema
 le leaders with the skills, community, and connections so that ALL girls m

 st Racism (S.T.A.R) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to is to
  equip residents of New Canaan, CT and neighboring communities with tools 
 and resources to understand systemic racism—including its history, root
  causes and the structures that perpetuate it— and to proactively advo
 cate for racial equity and bias elimination. We believe that by working to
 gether, we can drive transformative and sustainable social change in our
  community and beyond.
