Children’s Author Doreen Cronin & Illustrator Scott Menchin
will present their delightful new book Rescue Bunnies.
Doreen is the author of Click, Clack Moo, Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Fly
Duck for President
and other popular picture book favorites.
Elm Street Books will have their books for purchase and autographing.


Saturday, September 18
“Read to Samantha” – a new program for children in grades 1 to 3
1:30 – 3 PM in the Children’s Program Room
Samantha is a certified therapy dog. She along with her handler Linda Quilton
will be at the Library to let children practice their reading aloud to this gentle dog.
Each child will be given a 15 minute time slot.  Call 203-504-5002 to register.

Keep It Green!:  A book discussion series for children in grades 2 & 3
TheWartville Wizard
  by Don Madden and Earthday – Horray! by Stuart Murphy
will be discussed. Judy Sullivan, an English professor at WCSU, will lead the discussion.
The Library has multiple copies of the books.

Young Critics Book Discussion for grades 4 to 7
The Sixth Grade Nickname Game
by Gordon Korman will be discussed.
6:30-7:30 PM Pizza supper will be served.
