2026 Card Strategies & Open Play
Join us for a fun afternoon of learning strategies for the new 2026 National Mahjong League card! We can’t wait to welcome you to the table for a delicious boxed lunch from Marcia Selden while the Gold Coast Mahjong team shares their secrets and expert advice for winning hands, followed by open play. You can sign up on your own or as a table of four.
PLEASE BRING YOUR 2026 CARD. All tiles and table set ups will be provided by Gold Coast Mahjong Club, and they will offer a pop-up shop of favorite mahjong supplies with 10% of sales benefitting New Canaan Library.
All ticket proceeds from this fundraising event support the Library’s Annual Fund, which powers the learning and literacy programs, exceptional collections, adult classes and lectures, and essential services for our community. While the Town of New Canaan provides a generous grant that helps cover the Library’s operating expenses, we need the community’s help to fund the rest. Thank you for your support!
