Parking Info
Free parking for the Library is available in the Center School Lot directly across from the Library’s Maple Street entrance. The Library leases 76 spaces from the Town of New Canaan to offer free parking for our patrons. All other spaces in the lot remain municipal and are subject to metering rules. Library spaces are not numbered. If the parking space is numbered, it is a municipal space.
The Town Parking Authority monitors the meter for the numbered, non-Library spaces in Center School Lot Mon - Fri from 9AM - 4PM. If you park in a municipal space with a number on it, please pay at the meters available at the front of the lot or on the Paybyphone app using location #13433. There are additional accessible parking spaces in the Center School Lot.
