Renew Items

You can renew most items online, by phone, or in person at the Library.

To renew items online, log in to your Library account and enter your last name and library card number.  You’ll see a list of checked out items. Select the ones you want to renew or click “renew all” and the new due dates for your eligible items will update immediately.

To renew by phone please call our Customer Service team at 203-594-5058. If prompted, please leave a message with your name, the items you wish to renew, and a callback number in case we need to reach you.

You may renew most items up to three times unless someone has requested a hold. Express Books are not renewable, and InterLibrary Loans require at least 4 days’ notice before the due date so we may contact the lending institution.

Most items can be returned 24 hours a day through the outdoor return slot at the Library’s Maple Street entrance.  Museum Passes and Board Games must be returned in person to a service desk during the Library’s open hours.
