Beloved Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Dana Lichy debuts her first cookbook, She's A HOST: An Unbuttoned Cookbook for Elegant Entertaining. Erin will be in conversation with cookbook author Kathleen Ashmore.
The book offers a mix of Erin's personal family recipes (from Cuba, Iraq, Yemen, Israel, and Turkey), modern New York classics, decorating advice, and tips for hosting various events. Readers can expect to find recipes for dishes like shakshuka and sambusak, along with advice on creating interactive cocktail stations and photo-worthy tablescapes.
Erin Dana Lichy is a luxury real estate agent, interior designer, and entrepreneur. What most people don't know is that, Erin is the granddaughter of immigrants from Iraq and Yemen, she grew up with an amazing multicultural background centered around food. On her social platforms, Erin cooks healthy, nourishing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food to bring her family and friends together for weekly Shabbat dinners, epic girls' nights, birthday parties, brunches, and more.
Kathleen Ashmore is the chef, recipe developer, and digital creator behind Kat Can Cook and the website www.KathleenAshmore.com. Before becoming a TikTok food sensation with over 2 million followers, Kat graduated from the award-winning Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. Her new cookbook, Big Bites Time to Eat! Nourishing Family Recipes That Cook in an Hour or Less comes out in January 2026.
