This lecture looks at some of the world’s best-known works of art, and where they can be seen in museums, both in the United States and in Europe. While many of these masterpieces are found in well-known museums, a few are not, so you may learn about new museums along the way to add to your next itinerary. Included in this lecture are over fifty works by history’s greatest artists spanning from the Renaissance to the Modern era.

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, of ArtScapades, began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries, art centers, and museums in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida, and have been lecturing at New Canaan Library since 2010.
