Program Description

Event Details

Got a child starting school or struggling with daily routines? Social stories can help!

Join Pamela Smith in the Children’s Program Room for a hands-on workshop. Learn about social stories & narratives and how they can help ease anxiety, build confidence, and support your child through everyday ups and downs. Get ready to create your very own to take home and start using that day!

Pamela will remain in the Children's Program Room until 2 p.m. to help additional caregivers develop social stories and narratives.

About Pamela Smith: Pamela is a local mom of a wonderful neurodivergent child. Social stories have helped her and her son remarkably through many life skills and experiences. She can’t wait to help you make one for your child. They help children (and parents) with ALL kinds of minds be set up for success.

This breakout session is part of Back to School Together: A Resource Fair for Special Education & Inclusive Activities. Register for the resource fair here.
