Program Description

Event Details

Do you love to draw? Join NCHS art students for a fun-filled, hour-long drawing class on Sunday afternoon! This lesson will focus on drawing songbirds. We will start the lesson with a quick drawing warm-up in which students will learn more about drawing feathers and the bird’s body shape realistically. Finally, students will draw a songbird of their choice. Drawing materials will be provided.

 

*These classes are organized by NCHS junior Amy Meng, who has extensive experience in drawing and illustration.

Youth Participation Guidelines

If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
