Event Details

Join Young Women in Bio Ambassador Julia for a hands-on exploration of DNA and genetics.  We will learn about the structure and function of DNA as well as ways DNA science is used in our daily lives.  To help us understand the basics of DNA extraction, we will conduct an experiment to extract DNA from a strawberry using simple household items.  

For students in grades 5-8.
