Program Description

Event Details

Ready to get creative and bring your imagination to life? Join a few NCHS art students for an engaging, hands-on art class! Students in grades 3-4 will design their own creatures with Zentangle-style patterns, using simple repeating lines and shapes to create detailed, innovative artwork. All skill levels are welcome, and materials will be provided.

These classes are organized by Emily Meng, a high school freshman and recipient of multiple Scholastic Art Awards, including the CAEA/Arnini Best in Drawing award, as well as additional honors in national and international competitions. Emily has a strong background in drawing, painting, crafting, and mural work, and she is passionate about sharing creative, hands-on experiences with young students.
