Event Details

Rita Daniels, great-great-great grandniece of Harriet Tubman and co-author of Harriet Tubman: Military Scout and Tenacious Visionary, joins S.T.A.R. and the Library to mark Juneteenth 2025. Rita will share stories from her family's memory of Harriet Tubman, along with little-known facts about this inspiring historical figure. A Juneteenth-inspired craft will follow. This program is ideal for children entering grades K to 5 in Fall 2025.
