This class was rescheduled from 2/15 to 2/22.
In the second event of our Principles of Cooking series, we unlock the secrets of making hearty, flavorful soup that will warm your heart and soul! Whether you’re a kitchen novice or a seasoned cook, this class is designed to show you the basics of creating delicious soups from scratch.
In this course, you'll learn the essential techniques, from building the perfect broth to selecting the right ingredients for balance and depth of flavor. You'll discover how to make classic favorites and innovative new recipes using fresh, seasonal produce. Chef Lamour Workman demonstrates these methods and asks for attendee participation when applicable.
Registration for cooking programs opens one week before the class date at 9am.

5/31 Eggs | 5/24, 9am | Learn to poach, shirr, soft boil, make omelets and quiche, and prepare a hollandaise sauce. |

The Library leases 76 spaces marked "LIBRARY" in the Center School Lot to offer free parking for our patrons. All other numbered spaces in the lot remain municipal and are subject to metering rates. View more parking info here.
