  • All registrants are initially placed on the waitlist.
  • First-time cooking demo attendees will be moved, by library staff, to the registered list.

  • Registration for cooking demos opens one week before the event date at 9am.

Join us for a fun and interactive introduction to Indian cooking. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to prepare a complete, flavorful Indian meal from scratch. Together, we’ll explore traditional cooking methods and essential techniques for building authentic flavors.

On the menu:

• Spinach & Paneer Curry – a hearty, aromatic dish made with India’s beloved fresh cheese.

• Fragrant Basmati Rice – perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

• Fresh Naan – soft, pillowy flatbread you’ll make entirely by hand.

As we cook, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to recreate these dishes in your own kitchen.

Your instructor, Nita, is the founder of Golden Bites Kitchen and a local mom passionate about sharing wholesome, nutritious recipes with the community. Through her work, she blends her love for cooking with a mission to make healthy eating accessible and enjoyable for all, no matter your age or skill level in the kitchen.
