Event Details
Join us for a comprehensive event designed for individuals seeking to improve their Pelvic Health and overall wellbeing. The pelvic floor supports our pelvic organs, controls the body’s continence mechanisms, and helps with our core stability. 68% of women experience at least one type of pelvic floor issue, and 18 % of men reported experiencing some form of pelvic pain within the last year. Pelvic pain affects everyday life, yet the pelvic floor muscle group is barely talked about.
Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS) physical therapist, Meghan Hufziger, DPT, a certified Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist will discuss the benefits of pelvic floor therapy while focusing on common issues with the pelvic floor, as well as strengthening and rehabilitating the pelvic floor muscles which play a crucial role in your wellbeing and independence. Whether you're experiencing symptoms or simply want to understand more about this topic, join us to learn more about this essential aspect of physical health.
Meghan Hufziger is a Doctor of Physical Therapy licensed in Connecticut.
