Program Description

Event Details

This event celebrates the local community existing in what the author calls the “vast gray area”—the space between the old labels of "stay-at-home" and "working mother." Join us for a conversation between local mother of four, executive coach and author, Kristen Glosserman, and Neha Ruch, the founder of Mother Untitled about her new book, The Power Pause: How to Plan a Career Break After Kids – And Come Back Stronger Than Ever.

This book is a groundbreaking, practical guide for women navigating career shifts with confidence, financial dignity, intention, and support—while empowering them to own their stories as they re-enter the workforce. It’s set to transform the conversation around career breaks and downshifts for family life, offering women more options and helping them return to the workforce with less penalty.

Neha Ruch is the founder of Mother Untitled, the leading platform for ambitious women leaning into family life. A thought leader, influencer, and sought-after speaker focusing on women, work, parenting and identity, Neha's transformative insights and reframes resonate with the hundreds of thousands of women in the Mother Untitled community and beyond. Through Mother Untitled, she has sparked meaningful, supportive conversations, catalyzing a shift in how society views stay-at-home motherhood.

Kristen Glosserman - goal-setting strategist, life coach, and mother of four is an Executive and Life Coach who “gets” people and loves parenting. She lives and works by her motto, #HopeThisHelps, and her goal is to help her clients enjoy work and life more. Glosserman published her first book, If It’s Not Right, Go Left in 2021. She is the owner of Best Version Coaching, Inc in New York City and she lives in Westport, CT.

Elm Street Books will be onsite selling books. You can get your book signed following the discussion.
