The panel will also evaluate several ongoing clinical trials that could revolutionize dementia prevention and treatment. Q & A session will follow the discussion.
The lifetime risk of developing dementia is projected to double by 2060, affecting approximately 1 million US adults each year. New research shows a strong link between metabolic dysfunction and dementia and demonstrates that lifestyle changes can improve cognitive function. This highlights an urgent need to rethink our approach to dementia care.
