Event Details
Journey through the fascinating world of Java through the 1.5 hour interactive program for grades five through eight! This program is perfect for students fascinated with coding and want to simulate real-world applications. Students will learn to code in Java, exploring loops, methods, variables, and arithmetic expressions. By the end, students will have coded a mini-bank, which simulates withdrawing and adding money to a bank account. Filled with enriching challenges and engaging activities, students will dive into the fascinating world of Java and how it can be applied to banking transactions!
Registration opens February 1 at 8am. For students in grades 5-8.
About the teacher:
Medha Singhania is a freshman at New Canaan High School with a deep enthusiasm for coding, robotics, and microcontrollers. Eager to inspire others, she is launching a digital electronics program, where she will help kids explore the exciting world of microcontrollers and coding with engaging learning experiences.
