Deciding what you should eat between meals to satisfy your hunger or when you need a little more energy can be difficult.  Creating healthy snacks our kids will actually eat can feel daunting.  Join Dr. Harrison as she discusses ways to approach snacks in a way that emphasizes fuel rather than emotion for both you and the children you care for.

Dr. Raquel Harrison (MD, FACEP, dipABLM) is dual board certified in emergency medicine and lifestyle medicine.  With over 13 years of experience working in large urban emergency departments, she has been heavily impacted by how often lifestyle choices result in visits to the hospital. Leveraging years working in education as an assistant professor and assistant residency director at Yale School of Medicine, she now directs her passion for teaching towards educating others about lifestyle medicine and its critical role in preventing and reversing diseases that commonly lead to emergency visits and hospitalization.
