Do everyday moments with your preschooler -- like getting out the door, leaving activities, or small frustrations -- quickly turn into big reactions?
If your child has intense meltdowns, struggles with transitions, or seems easily overwhelmed, you’re not alone -- and there’s a reason these patterns show up so often in the early years.
This workshop is designed to be a practical, parent-focused conversation where we look at what’s underneath these behaviors and how they connect to developing emotional regulation and early executive functioning skills.
Rather than focusing on stopping behavior in the moment, we’ll explore how behavior is a form of communication -- and how understanding what’s driving it allows you to get ahead of challenging moments before they escalate.
Parents will leave with a clearer understanding of what their child is experiencing, along with simple, realistic strategies they can use in everyday situations like routines, transitions, and emotional outbursts.
Madison Friedman is the founder of Elevated Minds Growth Center, where she supports children ages 3-10 and their families with emotional regulation, transitions, and behavior.
Her work focuses on helping parents understand what behavior is really communicating and giving them practical tools they can use in everyday moments. Using a developmental, skill-building approach, she helps children build the foundations needed for lasting change; not just short-term fixes.
