Join us at the Library for a screening of Conclave (2024).
Directed by Edward Berger, this film pulls back the curtains on the clandestine election that follows the death of a pope. Throughout the days-long process, Cardinal Thomas Lawrence and his associates must band together to see their candidate succeed and prevent their opponents from taking control of the Catholic Church.
This film screening is presented in association with the Library book group, From Page to Screen. Next Tuesday 6/9, we will be discussing aspects of the film and the book Conclave by Robert Harris. Please register here. New members are always welcome!
