This group reads broadly, with a focus on literary award winners, well-reviewed fiction, and translations. This month’s discussion is on Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, a dystopian thriller set in a near-future Ireland that delves into themes of authoritarianism, resistance, and the impact of political oppression on individuals and families. Prophet Song was the Booker Prize Winner of 2023.
