Event Details
Spend an invigorating afternoon at our second World Music Series program, with master drummer John Dankwa (Assistant Professor of Music at Wesleyan University), and dancer/choreographer Iddi Saaka (Douglas J. and Midge Bowen Bennet Associate Professor of Dance at Wesleyan), together with their student performers. We will learn about and experience powerful rhythms, dynamic movement, and the communal energy of West African performance traditions. All ages are welcome!
