Program Description

Event Details

Join us for an exploration of one of astronomy's most exciting frontiers: exoplanets. Discover what these distant worlds are, how scientists detect them across the vastness of space, and hear firsthand from a researcher who has identified dozens of never-before-documented planets orbiting other stars. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a budding astronomer, this talk offers a rare glimpse into the cutting edge of planetary science.

About our presenter:
Hello! My name is Michael Telesco and I am a senior at New Canaan High School attending Stanford University in the fall. I am an avid astrophotographer and astronomy enthusiast. I am currently doing research in the field of astronomy/astrophysics, and I am super excited to share my passion with you.
