Chanukah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, is December 14 to December 22 this year.

Join Kurt Gallagher as he plays some favorite kids’ songs for 45 minutes of fun! Best for families with children ages 5 and under! Drop-in for the first 150 families to arrive. 

Each month we will take on a 3D design project using a CAD software.  This month, we will be creating custom magnets using Tinkercad.

Children ages 2-3 years and their caregivers, join Miss Rebecca for winter-themed stories, songs, movement, and crafts!

Are you a writer in grades 3-5? Join Miss Rebecca to write, write, write! This month, we'll get crafty with our writing. We'll draft a story or poem, then put it on a canvas and decorate it to create a work of art.

Join Miss Marie for Book Baby (Walkers) Storytime series with songs, rhymes, bounces, and a special book! This class is for those who are 12-24 months old with a caregiver.

Children ages 2-3 years and their caregivers, join Miss Rebecca for winter-themed stories, songs, movement, and crafts!

Join Drawn to Reading, a fun graphic novel book group for 2nd–4th graders! We’ll read the first chapter of a graphic novel together followed by a fun activity.

Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.

Each month we will use MakerLab equipment to work on a project together.  This month we will be creating snow globe shakers and discussing the 3D printer and laser cutter.

Join Miss Rebecca for our K-1st Book Club, featuring hands-on games and crafts! Each month, we will read a book together at the Library, then get creative with book-inspired projects.

Do you love to draw? Join Amy, a college student, for a fun-filled, hour-long drawing class on Sunday afternoon! We will be drawing a winter scene to celebrate the official start of winter.

Are you a fan of Jeopardy? Ready to put your memory to the test? Kids in grades 2 to 6, join us once a month for the Quiz Game Book Group! Each month, we'll assign a book for you to read at home.

Join us as we have a fun 30 minute sing-along with Daniel Palese! Daniel Palese is a local children's musician and board-certified music therapist with an MA in Music Therapy from NYU.

Join accomplished pianist and teen volunteer Cary Wang to learn advanced music theory and enhance your piano performance.

Math Buddies* is hosting a math game club for elementary students at the New Canaan Library. All students in grades K-4 are welcome!
