Each month we will use MakerLab equipment to work on a project together.  This month, we will get an introduction to the 3D printer and then learn techniques for painting 3D printed miniature figures.

Are you a budding writer in Grades K to 2? Join Miss Rebecca for a storytelling–and story writing–extravaganza! We’ll play games to get imaginations flowing, then put ideas to paper in creative ways.

Each month, teen leaders from LiveGirl, S.T.A.R., and New Canaan Library guide participants in discussion around a selected realistic or historical fiction book. Open to anyone in grades 5-8.

Discovery Zone will focus on the concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) for children in 1st and 2nd grade.

This month, children will design and build a small swing.

Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.
