Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.

Each month, teen leaders from LiveGirl, S.T.A.R., and New Canaan Library guide participants in discussion around a selected realistic or historical fiction book. Open to anyone in grades 5-8.

The month of Ramadan begins at sundown on February 17 and continues through sundown on March 19 this year, which is commemorated by the holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr (March 20). Join members of your community to celebrate and learn about Ramadan.

Are you a fan of Jeopardy? Ready to put your memory to the test? Kids in grades 3 to 6, join us once a month for the Quiz Game Book Group! Each month, we'll assign a book for you to read at home.

In this workshop, kids become cartoon/game builders and designers using ScratchJr. Through playful projects like Space Jam, Secret Agent, I Spy, and Maze Olympics, they’ll unlock the magic of coding while building their very own original games.
