Join Kurt Gallagher as he plays some favorite kids’ songs for 45 minutes of fun! Best for families with children ages 5 and under! Drop-in for the first 150 families to arrive. 

Discovery Zone will focus on the concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) for children in 1st and 2nd grade.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL DATE. 

Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.

The excitement ramps up as students program robots to move, react, and perform challenges — watching their code come alive in action!

Each month, teen leaders from LiveGirl, S.T.A.R., and New Canaan Library guide participants in discussion around a selected realistic or historical fiction book. Open to anyone in grades 5-8.

We'll announce our March book soon! 

Musicians make lots of choices--what to play, how loud, how fast! Listeners make choices too, like what to hear and how to move. Join the UNIQUE team for a fun, interactive concert all about musical decisions--yours included! 

Famlies can drop in to come make art with Barbara Rucci! We will have 3 different art stations where you can explore your creativity. No registration needed, this is a drop-in program.

Each month we will take on a 3D design project using a CAD software.  This month we will work on designing a combination puzzle box. 

Join Miss Marie for an 8-week Twos Storytime series with songs, rhymes, felt-board stories, and special books and marching! This class is for those who are 24-36 months old with a caregiver. 

Are you a writer in grades 3-5? Join Miss Rebecca to write, write, write! This month, we will design our own character cards (Think Pokémon cards, but for characters in your own story), then start to plot a story for our characters.

Join Miss Marie for Book Baby (Walkers) Storytime series with songs, rhymes, bounces, and a special book! This class is for those who are 12-24 months old with a caregiver.

Each month we will use MakerLab equipment to work on a project together.  This month, we will be exploring aerodynamics as we take on the challenge of building an aircraft that can hover in our air tunnel.

Join Miss Rebecca for our K-1st Book Club, featuring hands-on games and crafts! Each month, we will read a book together at the Library, then get creative with book-inspired projects.
