New Canaan Library is pleased to offer a new 5-session weekly Calligraphy course this Winter. Calligraphy is the art of fine hand lettering. Participants will use a calligraphy marker to learn letter shapes and pen strokes.

This book group reads broadly across the gothic genre and includes literature spanning from the 1700s to the present.

Join us for a writing workshop to spark your creativity and help you discover your unique voice. Through a series of thought-provoking prompts, you'll have the opportunity to explore your inner writer and share your stories if you choose.

THIS EVENT IS BEING RESCHEDULED.

We have teamed up with the New Canaan YMCA to create a tranquil, foundation-building class designed to introduce new students to yoga, as well as offer regular practitioners a gentle class to complement their yoga practice.

In this class, you will learn how to hold, strum, and play simple chords, incorporating different genres of music. By the end of class, you will have learned some simple songs that will allow you to continue playing more songs in the future.

Those who are new PC users or are thinking of updating their operating system from Windows 10 will benefit from this class, which teaches the basics of the latest Windows 11 operating system.

Our French Conversation class focuses on culture, conversation, vocabulary, and basic grammar. Students will engage in various activities to practice the language.

This group reads books of all genres written by women with an emphasis on diverse, edgy, and emerging authors.

This month, we are reading The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden.
