Let’s come together and give back to our community! Join New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library, with the helping hands of New Canaan Girl Scouts, to get crafty and create projects reflecting kindness and caring.

Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.

Are you a budding writer in Grades K to 2? Join Miss Rebecca for a storytelling–and story writing–extravaganza! We’ll play games to get imaginations flowing, then put ideas to paper in creative ways.

Famlies can drop in to come make art with Barbara Rucci! We will have 3 different art stations where you can explore your creativity. No registration needed, this is a drop-in program.

Swing by the library to pick up the supplies for a make-at-home craft! Everything you need will be in your kit, so it's perfect for a study break or long weekend trip. 

Each month we will use MakerLab equipment to work on a project together.  This month, we will be exploring aerodynamics as we take on the challenge of building an aircraft that can hover in our air tunnel.

Join Miss Rebecca for our K-1st Book Club, featuring hands-on games and crafts! Each month, we will read a book together at the Library, then get creative with book-inspired projects.

Join us each month as we create a seasonal painting in acrylic! All skill levels are welcome.

Join our exciting after-school program on LEGO Robotics! Discover the world of STEM through hands-on building and programming with LEGO SPIKE.

Wind down from the school-week with a gentle crafting project.  This month, we will have miniature bakery items made from polymer clay primed and ready to paint!  Pick your order, paint and create a mini to-go box to carry them home in.

Children ages 2-3 years and their caregivers, join Miss Rebecca for a morning of stories, songs, movement, and crafts!

Join us for an afternoon of crafting! Stop in anytime between 1pm-3pm.
