Event Details

Learn about Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing before our abbreviated performance for families on Wednesday, May 27th and Shakespeare on the Sound's Summer production from June 10th - June 28th in Rowayton’s Pinkney Park.

Much Ado About Nothing features two opposing love stories: the impulsive romance between Hero and Claudio that’s threatened by deception, and the slow-burn between Beatrice and Benedick, whose witty sparring masks deep affection. Set in Elizabethan England, this richly layered comedy combines mistaken identity, honor, betrayal, and emotional redemption. For the abbreviated performance for families, please visit Much Ado about Nothing for KIDS!

After 40 years of classroom teaching, John Love, former board member of Shakespeare on the Sound, has given talks about Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, and now for Shakespeare on the Sound's 30th upcoming anniversary production, Much Ado About Nothing.
