Program Description

Event Details

Journey through an engaging two-day digital electronics program for grades five through eight! Over two days, students will explore the fascinating world of microcontroller parts and sensors using Arduino Microcontrollers. Through the first day, students will dive into the parts of microcontrollers and the basis of circuits using the Arduino IDE and Arduino Uno boards. On the second day, students will apply this knowledge to implement different types of interesting sensors, such as motion sensors, in their circuits, activating other parts of the circuit, such as making LEDs change color. Enriching their learning in an engaging manner, activities will include enriching challenges along with insightful revelations. Each step of the way will be filled with engaging activities, insightful applications, and exciting review games!

For students in grades 5-8. Please only register if you are able to attend both days of the workshop: 10-noon on 2/17 AND 2/18.
