It will open your eyes to contrast colorings, darks and lights, and the gentle shaping of nature and buildings with oil paint. The five classes are designed to provide technique and guidance and bring out your creative side.

All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Please dress for oil paints! Wear clothes or an apron that you may get oil paint on.

About the Instructor:

Colleen Hains has been painting for 40 years.  Colleen attended the University of Connecticut School of Art and has studied with Rayma Spaulding, a Hudson River Valley Painter.  She recently received a grant from the State of Connecticut to make and market a painting kit for the vision impaired. Her passion is oil painting, and her favorite subjects to paint are people and animals.  She is currently building an art show featuring 24 oil paintings of women that are over the age of 50 with the objective of painting women in their natural beauty.
