The New Canaan YMCA and Library have joined forces to bring you drop-in Tai Chi! Tai chi is a series of slow, gentle motions that are patterned after movements in nature.  It offers many health benefits to the body, mind and spirit. Most of the work is performed while standing and taking small steps. It can be practiced by almost anyone and in almost any situation. 

Instructor Bio: Lucy Gao is a certified instructor for Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga and NIA. She has taught Tai Chi in New Canaan since 2016 and is a current instructor with the New Canaan YMCA. 

Please refrain from using your cell phone during the class. Class begins promptly at 10am, latecomers will not be able to enter after the doors close.
