Program Description

Event Details

Each month we will take on a 3D design project using a CAD software.  This month we will learn how to use Tinkercad to design for the laser cutter.  We will design, cut and assemble our mazes using wood and encapsulate a small ball inside with a layer of clear plastic to finish our project. Some 3D design experience in Tinkercad or similar program is helpful but not required. Please note that due to the time it takes to 3D print an object, finished projects may need to be picked up after the class.  You will receive a confirmation email when your finished printed project is ready for pick up.  For students in grades 4-7.

Registration opens August 1 at 8am.

Due to the nature of this program, and out of respect for instructors and fellow patrons, we are not able to accommodate anyone who arrives more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start of the program. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor, latecomers will not be allowed into the program. Thank you for your understanding and help in making programs at the Library successful and fun for everyone!
