Program Type:
Technology & STEMProgram Description
Event Details
Each month we will take on a 3D design project using a CAD software. This month, we will be creating custom magnets using Tinkercad. We will design our magnet base with a interior hole for the magnet and learn how to program a 'pause' in the print for inserting the magnet. The magnet design is up to you and can be printed in one or two colors.
Some 3D design experience in Tinkercad or similar program is helpful but not required. Please note that due to the time it takes to 3D print an object, finished projects may need to be picked up after the class. You will receive a confirmation email when your finished printed project is ready for pick up. For students in grades 4-7.
Registration opens November 1 at 8am.
