Program Description
Event Details
In December 1780, Great Britain declared war on the Dutch Republic, drawing it militarily into the American War of Independence. The Dutch had for several years been supplying the Americans and shipping French supplies to the Americans in support of the American war effort.
Come play in a game based on the Battle of Dogger Bank, where the British and Dutch fleets pounded each other with devastating broadsides. The game features hand crafted scale models of the ships involved, and is facilitated by experts from HMGS Next Gen, Inc. who have great experience in running games that are fun and challenging for players. Presented by the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Next Gen. Inc. Lots of fun, and learn some history as well!

Youth Participation Guidelines
If your child is under 12 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room for the duration of the program. If your child finishes a program early, or if a child becomes ill, distressed, or behaves in a manner that interferes with other participants’ enjoyment of the program, they may be released into the Children’s Room before the program’s end time. Please ensure that your child knows exactly where to find you at all times.
