Join Drawn to Reading, a fun graphic novel book group for 2nd–4th graders! We’ll read the first chapter of a graphic novel together followed by a fun activity.

Are you a budding writer in Grades K to 2? Join Miss Rebecca for a storytelling–and story writing–extravaganza! We’ll play games to get imaginations flowing, then put ideas to paper in creative ways.

In partnership with the Health Department of New Canaan, we present a suicide prevention QPR class. 

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can use to help prevent suicide.

Famlies can drop in to come make art with Barbara Rucci! We will have 3 different art stations where you can explore your creativity. No registration needed, this is a drop-in program.

Open Morning for Writers is once-a-month quiet writing space for writers at New Canaan Library.  There will not be any instruction or talking in the room. 

Are you a fan of Jeopardy? Ready to put your memory to the test? Kids in grades 3 to 6, join us once a month for the Quiz Game Book Group! Each month, we'll assign a book for you to read at home.
