In this class, you will learn how to hold, strum, and play simple chords, incorporating different genres of music. By the end of class, you will have learned some simple songs that will allow you to continue playing more songs in the future.

Those who are new PC users or are thinking of updating their operating system from Windows 10 will benefit from this class, which teaches the basics of the latest Windows 11 operating system.

Teens come and take a break from studying for a Sweet P Bakery cookie and cup of cocoa. Warm up and enjoy a sweet treat while giving yourself a 15-minute brain break. No registration required—limited supplies, first come, first served!

Join Kurt Gallagher as he plays some favorite kids’ songs for 45 minutes of fun! Best for families with children ages 5 and under! Drop-in for the first 150 families to arrive. 

Let’s come together and give back to our community! Join New Canaan CARES and New Canaan Library, with the helping hands of New Canaan Girl Scouts, to get crafty and create projects reflecting kindness and caring.

Our French Conversation class focuses on culture, conversation, vocabulary, and basic grammar. Students will engage in various activities to practice the language.

This group reads books of all genres written by women with an emphasis on diverse, edgy, and emerging authors.

Open Tech is a weekly drop-in program held every Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 PM.

Discovery Zone will focus on the concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) for children in 1st and 2nd grade.

Our Spanish Conversation group is designed for individuals with advanced beginner or intermediate skills.

Take a paws and join us for "Bunny Break," a delightful study break! Relax and recharge with Xen's Creatures adorable big bunnies and playful baby bunnies in a cozy, welcoming space at the library.

Maker Club is an open time for students in grades 4-8 to play games, work on a project, or tinker- it is up to you.  Ten laptops will be available for computer games as well as an assortment of board games if you'd like to stay offline.
